Boston Yanks play their last game at Fenway Park.

The last-place Yanks beat NFL eastern division champion Philadelphia Eagles 37-14 in the team’s last home game. Owner Ted Collins moves the team to New York as the Bulldogs in 1949. It moves to Dallas as the Texans in 1952, then to Baltimore as the Colts.
